A dispatch board built for pilots, not adapted from fleet software.

A pilots association dispatches other people's ships through its own water, and generic fleet software does not fit that job. Binnacle Passage puts every vessel in the district on one screen via live AIS, with a tide-adjusted ETA to the boarding ground and pilot-boat departure alerts.

The pilot-native layer is the part that matters: a SOLAS pilot-ladder safety checklist, a digital Master-Pilot Exchange card, fatigue and rest rules that keep the rotation honest, and a tariff that computes the fee and feeds a clean receivables export.

Questions

Is this different from the fleet product?

Yes. The dispatch board is built around a coverage zone and a pilot rotation, not a vessel list — it is the tool a dispatcher and chief pilot actually use.

How does billing work?

Your tariff computes the fee from each transit's gross tonnage and draft, receivables age automatically, and a QuickBooks-ready CSV exports for the billing office.

Where can I learn more?

The for-pilots page walks through the full board, and there is a free pilotage tariff calculator to try the fee math.
